I encounter the same issue, disconnect internet can open the UI but can't initialization, and this log show you can't connect https://dist.neo4j.org/neo4j-desktop/win/latest.yml website, so I set a proxy got it. However, I can't open any database
I'm having the same problem.
When I update the desktop to 1.6.1, I can open the instance. but don't import or create database
Log:
