I’m using Neo4j v5 with Node.js and connecting to a Neo4j AuraDB Professional instance. However, I’ve noticed that when my Node.js application uses the AuraDB instance, the response times are significantly slower compared to when I connect to a local Neo4j v5 installation — where the responses are much faster.
Could you please help me understand why this might be happening? Is there any configuration or optimization needed on the Neo4j driver side or the AuraDB instance to improve performance?

My AuraDB instance is hosted in the Belgium (europe-west1) region.

My Node.js application is also hosted in the Austria region.
