I’ve been interested in computers since I was a kid, watching Star Trek reruns in the early 70s. I’ve used many different computers, operating systems, and applications over the years.
Everything is connected, so what better way to represent that than a graph database. For now I’m working on a project I’m calling FAM that captures information about my family, and the connections. Places, dates, events, pictures, and of course, the people.
That's fantastic! Leveraging your passion for computers and drawing inspiration from your experiences, creating a project like FAM sounds like a meaningful endeavor. Graph databases are indeed an excellent choice for capturing interconnected information, especially when it comes to representing family connections, events, and memories. Best of luck with your FAM project, and may it be a rewarding journey into combining technology with personal history!
