I'm coming from the more traditional Java/PHP MAMP or WAMP or what have you world.
This is my first foray into graph databases and my specific interest is in making a couple of genealogical databases I have more manageable.
I have been futzing in the past with several JS based approaches to making genealogical data more user approachable, but having found Neo4j I realize it can give me not only a reasonable user interface, but also the graph approach is more in line with what the data calls for than your more popular SQL solutions.
Sounds to good to be true. Where's the catch?
