I got replacement for my MacBook and trying to migrate there my setup including my neo4j Desktop. However I faced a problem, rather unexpectedly. I downloaded installation image, run it but then when I open Desktop for the first time, I am getting errors while it tries to download different packages. It seems to me that it starts download but encounters problem after a while. I run a bit older version on my previous MacBook and there I did not encounter any issues so not sure if anything in application changed.
What I tried:
- download packages using
wgetand URLs from log. It was fine. - download DBMC package using
wget. It worked and allow me to create db instance. - set certificates for java jdk.
- I played with different proxy settings but none of it seems to make a difference.
But none of that worked.
