There is a tool that we need to use, but it only supports Neo4J 3.5 a very very old version of Neo. All my other projects are running on 5.10.x which is great! If I install Neo4j 3.5 Community edition on one of our servers, (assuming I can even get a 3.5 edition), will my 1.5.8 desktop even be able to connect to it?
I am, assuming that, I can't run both desktop versions on my laptop. Can I? that would be, nuts.. See what I am asking?
any ideas?
sorry.. this is not my doing the third party company just does not yet support a modern version of Neo.. Ideas?
You can run multiple different versions of neo4j database with desktop. You are able to select the version you want when you create a new local database. Unfortunately, the earliest version I see in my desktop is 4.1.0.
You can use desktop to connect to a database server outside of desktop by creating a remote connection to that server. I doubt you will find that version for download since it is end of life.
