Initialization error: Error: end of central directory record signature not found

I'm having a problem installing the desktop version. I downloaded the installer and things seemed to work normally, until after logging in: I get a big red error.

Initialization error: Error: end of central directory record signature not found

I tried removing zulu8.21.0.1-jdk8.0.131-win_x64.zip
I tried renaming it to zulu8.21.0.1-jdk8.0.131-win_x64.zip.tmp
I tried replacing it with another version of zulu.

Edit: I tried changing JAVA_HOME to various installs of zulu, still nothing. But if this is a key, do tell how I would alter this and to what, since zulu in the Program Files\Neo4j Desktop\resources\offline\java\zulu8.21.0.1-jdk8.0.131-win_x64.zip isn't extracted yet.

JAVA_HOME currently pointing to D:\Program Files\Java\zulu11.68.17 and path to %JAVA_HOME%\bin

Note, I already have several versions of Java on my machine from school courses.
Although, I'm not an expert about anything at this point.
I searched google and the forums and stack overflow, but no solutions work.
I also tried uninstalling and installing again. Didn't work.

I'm supposed to use this for my class.

OS: Windows 11
Software: Neo4j Desktop Setup 1.0.22

That is a very old version of desktop. The latest is 1.6. Notice how it extracting Java 8. The newest version require 11 or 17

I would try the latest version if desktop.

Doh! That did the trick! I got the old version from a link so the version was in the URL. The latest works wonderful, thank you!
