DBMS failed to start

Hello there,

I am facing a problem for a while and I still dont know whats wrong. Desktop-Version: 1.4.8
I can`t start any DBMS, no matter which version it is. Once it worked perfectly, but than I got the massage "DMBS failed to start: DBMS process terminated, see logs... "

The Ports 7474 and 7687 are not in use from other programs, so is there something that I am missing?
The config-file is also on default.

Any recommends please?!

Neo4j Desktop. Windows 10.
I ended up with a very similar situation, where I can't confirm the cause. One minute DB was working fine, next none of mine would start. Errors connecting, vague messages about ports, nothing of note in the logs.

I couldn't actually locate 'NEO4J_HOME' in my system or user variables, but did spot the mark of Chocolatey in both. "ChocolateyLastPathUpdate" + "ChocolateyInstall" so learnt something here.

My (non) resolution to the problem was upgrading my DBMS one tier, and everything now starts again fine. Wish the logs were more verbose.
