Hi, we're scoping out an upgrade to a version of Bloom (either 2.9 or 2.10) for a project, but the company has several neo4j Bloom projects. Currently, all of the projects have been created with 2.7.1, but we need the capabilities of the newer versions (date filtering, options to select information to show only on hover). What is the likelihood of the other projects breaking if we were to upgrade the version of Bloom?
Thanks in advance!
Hi - you should be able to upgrade directly from Bloom 2.7.1 to Bloom 2.10 without issue.
It's always recommended to backup your scenes & perspectives first though, which can be done by saving perspectives from the three-dot menu on each in the Gallery (for Bloom Basic users) or by backing up your database - particularly the nodes & relationships labelled _BLOOM_PERSPECTIVE_
, _BLOOM_SCENE_
and _HAS_SCENE_
(for Bloom Enterprise users with the Bloom plugin).
