I have a neo4j community edition installed on a linux VM in Google Cloud Platform(GCP). this is a developer DB so only http and bolt enabled. https is disabled. I have added Firewall rules for both 7474 and 7687 ports. I can connect it to in browser using http://{ip}:7474 . I can connect it using bolt://{ip}:7687 in a node.js application running locally. Only issue is with neo4j desktop 2, when I try to connect using bolt it gives WebSocket security error. enabling developer tools in desktop application is showing that it’s trying to connect on wss://{ip}:7687. if there are any firewall or network issues then Node.js script would be giving error while it’s only with neo4j desktop application.'error: general processing exception - unexpected error. WebSocket connection failure. Due to security constraints in your web browser, the reason for the failure is not available to this Neo4j Driver. Please use your browsers development console to determine the root cause of the failure. Common reasons include the database being unavailable, using the wrong connection URL or temporary network problems. If you have enabled encryption, ensure your browser is configured to trust the certificate Neo4j is configured to use. WebSocket readyState is: 1’
- which OS do you use? Mac OS 26.3
