Backing up a project and its databases on desktop app and restoring them

I want to back up a project and all of its databases to a repository in tortoise svn. How do i do this using the desktop app? What files do i upload to the repository and if i were to lose access to all the data stored locally and uninstall and reinstall neo4j on my desktop, how would i restore my projects and databases? Thank you
