I am new to the Neo4j MCP server and I would like to understand its capabilities for different models. I have tried using the Memgraph schema and the Neo4j schema, but they don't seem to provide much value for most open-source models. Many of these models struggle with understanding and executing complex queries or even simple aggregated queries.
I'm not sure if these aspects have improved recently, especially regarding the prompting and agentic capabilities of the MCP server. I would really appreciate more information, as I am very interested in exploring the newly developed MCP.
In particular, I would like to know if the MCP server has been updated to support not only the schema and query generation but also the generation of prompts and agentic behavior prompts. This would be extremely valuable for models that rely on clear instructions and context-aware interactions.
Finally, I would like to know if the Neo4j team has conducted any benchmarks on the performance of their MCP with various suitable open-source models or agentic platforms.
