MacbookPro with M1 (ARM) - Compatibility

I am thinking on getting the new MacBookPro 13in with the Apple M1 chip.

I am wondering if there any tests regarding the servers and desktop's compatibility with the ARM architecture.

I have the same question as @exonianp but I see that no one has yet answered the question. Has anyone yet installed Neo4j Desktop on an M1 laptop or have developers done so?
I checked the release notes and did not find any mention of M1.

Hola, Estoy teniendo el mismo problema, no puedo usar neo4j en una M1 :(

Hi @exonianp
I found this comment.
Neo4j 4.3, expected mid-year, will be M1 compatible.

I have the same problem, running community server 4.4.6 on M1 MacBook Pro.
Into the neo4j manual there is written to use ZuluJDK.

I installed it, but neo4j doesn't recognize it:

Starting Neo4j.
WARNING: You are using an unsupported Java runtime.
* Please use Oracle(R) Java(TM) 11, OpenJDK(TM) to run Neo4j.
* Please see for Neo4j Installation Instructions.
Started neo4j (pid:5254). It is available at

But there is no process with that PID.

Any suggestion?
