Issue a dismiss via scene action

Hi,

I would like to create a scene action that takes the highlighted nodes and finds first order neighbors and dismisses the original nodes and the neighbors. The first part of the scene action is straight forward in getting the nodes of interest, what is not clear is how to dismiss them via the script.

I'm looking for an answer to this as well. I haven't been able to even select the desired nodes through scene actions so that I can dismiss them manually
