Hey everyone! I'm Meftun, a Senior AI Engineer based in Ankara, Turkey. I work at Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), where I'm building RAG and GraphRAG pipelines over aerospace requirements data using Neo4j, running in fully air-gapped environments with NVIDIA H200 clusters.
My day-to-day involves a lot of Neo4j — designing knowledge graphs from IBM DOORS requirements documents, tuning hybrid retrieval pipelines with pgvector and Neo4j side by side, and figuring out how to make all of this work without internet access (which is a fun challenge on its own).
Before TUSAŞ, I worked at Bosch and a few other defense/aerospace companies, mostly on the data science and computer vision side. I also have a published paper on RAG benchmarking (T²-RAGBench) where I evaluated 15+ retrieval methods on financial QA datasets.
I just passed the Neo4j Certified Professional exam, which felt like a nice milestone. I'm really enjoying the graph database world — especially the intersection of knowledge graphs and LLMs. Always happy to chat about GraphRAG architectures, air-gapped deployments, or anything Neo4j related.
