Hey I'm Rich and I've done a semester Big Data project about visualizing relationships of authors of scientific papers.

I am planning to try Neo4j for my next NLP projects.

NLP in Neo4j works great. The guys at GraphAware put together a pretty killer set of plugins for working with this kind of data. To see a work-through of that, how it works and how to use it, you might find this useful:
