I've used Neo4j off and on for a decade, but I'm evaluating Bloom.
I set up multiple perspectives. When I change one (add more nodes, etc), then switch perspectives, I find my other perspectives have changed as well.
This seems like either a really obvious bug or I totally don't understand what the point of "Perspectives" are. Any thoughts?

In Neo4j Bloom, a Perspective defines a certain business view or domain that can be found in the target Neo4j graph. A single Neo4j graph can be viewed through different Perspectives, each tailored for a different business purpose.
This means that each Perspective has the same information about what nodes and relationships are in the scene (visualization) for each database, it just treats them differently depending on what and how the categories / relationship types are set up.
Did you expect each Perspective to have stored unique information about what graph is in the scene? We will in the future add the capability to save scenes.
Yeah.. after much hitting my head against the wall, I realized that in your terminology I'd like to "save a scene".
For example, I'd like to show two kinds of interactions of the same data. And I'd like to be able to show it during a presentation, and switch back and forth during the presentation. Screenshots aren't effective for this, partly because the UI makes me zoom way in to see labels. But also, it's frustrating to put in a lot of effort to set up a scene that shows one use case and have to throw it away to show another.
I understand that Bloom is a relatively early release and these things will come through over time.
I've long used Cytoscape, and just struggling with limitations with Bloom vs difficulty of us with Cytoscape. My company uses Linkurious which seems to have the features I want, but not at the cost and enterprise level headaches.
