Automatic SSL renewal on self-hosted Linux server

Hi,

We self-host our database on a Linux server on Contabo. SSL by LetsEncrypt.
The automatic renewal of LetsEncrypt works fine for the website, but the database becomes unavailable in Workspace and our own r/w dashboard (NeoDash works fine). Manual reset is needed.

We currently use the free version of LetsEncrypt and are planning to upgrade. This will not really help, except that it will renew yearly instead of every three months.
Is there a way to solve this?
