πŸ† Aura Agent Hackathon Winners Announced

:trophy: Aura Agent Hackathon Winners Announced

Over the past several months, developers from around the world learned Aura Agents, earned Aura credits, and built graph-powered AI applications solving real-world challenges.

What started as:

GraphAcademy β†’ Aura Credits β†’ Build Agent β†’ Real-World Solutions

resulted in 40 submitted AI agents spanning healthcare, finance, cybersecurity, geospatial intelligence, misinformation analysis, customer intelligence, agriculture, and more.

The quality of submissions was outstanding. Selecting the winners required balancing graph modeling, technical execution, creativity, real-world impact, and effective use of AI with connected data.

Today, we're excited to announce the winners.

:1st_place_medal: First Place

ConspiracyGraph Agent

@jonas.koenner

:wrapped_gift: Prize: Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones

ConspiracyGraph Agent tackles one of the most challenging problems in today's information landscape: understanding how claims, narratives, entities, sources, and evidence connect.

Using a graph-powered approach, the project helps users explore relationships across complex information ecosystems and demonstrates how knowledge graphs can provide context, transparency, and explainability where traditional approaches often fall short.

The judges were impressed by the originality of the use case, the quality of the graph model, and the way the project leveraged connected data to reveal relationships that would otherwise remain hidden.

Congratulations on taking first place! :tada:

Second Place

RegulatoryRisk GraphAgent

@dhiraj.patra

:wrapped_gift: Raspberry Pi 5 (16GB)

RegulatoryRisk GraphAgent demonstrates the power of graph technology in highly regulated environments.

By connecting regulations, obligations, policies, operational processes, and organizational context, the project transforms a complex compliance challenge into a navigable knowledge graph capable of supporting intelligent recommendations and decision-making.

The project stood out for its strong graph design, practical business value, and compelling demonstration of how connected data can improve regulatory understanding and operational effectiveness.

Congratulations on an outstanding second-place finish! :tada:

:3rd_place_medal: Third Place

Korca Triage Agent

@jevlachov

:wrapped_gift: ** :coin: 250 Aura Credits**

Korca Triage Agent applies graph-powered intelligence to support and service-management workflows.

The project uses relationships between people, teams, skills, expertise, and organizational knowledge to help route requests more effectively and connect issues with the resources best positioned to resolve them.

The judges recognized the project's practical real-world applicability and its strong demonstration of how graph context can improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

Congratulations on earning third place! :tada:

:t_shirt: Every Builder Earned an Agent Shirt

One of the best parts of this hackathon wasn't just the winning projectsβ€”it was seeing developers around the world learn, experiment, and build.

To celebrate that achievement, every project entrant will receive an exclusive Aura Agent T-Shirt.

:open_mailbox_with_raised_flag: Watch your Neo4j Community inbox for a Google Form requesting shipping information.

Once submitted, we'll begin coordinating shirt fulfillment.

:folded_hands: Thank You

The Aura Agent Hackathon showcased what happens when developers combine AI with connected data and knowledge graphs.

Thank you to everyone who participated, learned something new, built a project, and shared your work with the community:

  • Developers participating from around the world

Please join us in congratulating our winners, finalists, and every builder who participated in the Aura Agent Hackathon! :clap:

Thank you so much! I’m truly happy and grateful to have received first place. Participating in the hackathon was a great experience, and I learned a lot during the process. I really enjoyed being part of it and look forward to joining more Neo4j projects in the future!

This is really amazing thought and application with graph could explain. Congratulations.

I am truly honored and deeply grateful to Neo4j for selecting my project as the 2nd place winner of the Aura Agent Hackathon. This competition was a remarkable testament to how graph technology is reshaping the way we explore, connect, and extract intelligence from complex data.

My project, which integrates Neo4j Aura, Agentic AI, and MCP, was designed with a clear vision to offer banking and financial institutions a scalable, intelligent framework for fraud detection, risk analysis, and real-time decision-making. I firmly believe that this stack can unlock new levels of operational efficiency and insight for the financial sector.

A huge thank you to the Neo4j team for orchestrating such a world-class, inclusive event that empowered innovators across the globe. And to all the participants your creativity and passion made this hackathon truly extraordinary.

I've been an advocate of graph databases for years through my blog, LinkedIn, and other platforms and I remain convinced that graph is not just a trend, but a paradigm shift for knowledge exploration, prediction, and discovery across every domain. This recognition only deepens my commitment to that mission.

Thank you once again. On to the next challenge!
