As I mentioned above, this workshop is a great choice for really anyone. We’ll be introduced to graph databases and discuss various approaches for identifying graph-shaped problems. We’ll also get our hands on our very first graph database experience, where we will load and query data using Neo4j Aura Free.
During this workshop, we will perform data ingestion and analytics of the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System Data. The FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS or AERS) is a computerized information database designed to support the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) post marketing safety surveillance program for all approved drug and therapeutic biologic products.

Then we’ll dive into Neo4j-specific functionality ranging from no-code and graph model based data loading over Cypher and bulk loading options. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) is a well-established step in the data science process. However, few examples or best practices address the unique challenges of performing EDA on graph data.
