# Stuck on Choose Folder when installing neo4j

The error log is showing wmic is not recognized as an internal or external command. I did some research and found that Windows11 has removed wmic .exe file . So how to proceed with the installation now?

Hi @parasangiras121 ,

Which version of Neo4j Desktop are you trying to install?  
Maybe trying the most updated version from **[this link](https://neo4j.com/download/neo4j-desktop/?edition=desktop&flavour=windows&release=1.4.12&offline=true)** may solve the issue
