# How do I create a new user with read only privileges on neo4j Aura

I am trying to create a new read-only user and not able to. It says that the user doesnt have privileges to grant permissions. Any help with this?

What user are you under currently and what are its privileges? You can check by running `SHOW USERS` at the command line.
