Our 1.7 release of GDS is now GA, and available on the download center, github, and desktop 🎉

The most _ **exciting** _ features in this release include:

- Introduced [Link Prediction Pipelines](https://neo4j.com/docs/graph-data-science/1.7/algorithms/ml-models/linkprediction-pipelines/) to make it easier to define and calculate features, split your graph, and make predictions.
- Introduced support for [exporting additional node properties, including strings,](https://neo4j.com/docs/graph-data-science/1.7/graph-catalog-export-ops/#_example_with_additional_node_properties) from the underlying database.
- Experimental support for [querying the in-memory graph with Cypher](https://neo4j.com/docs/graph-data-science/1.7/management-ops/create-cypher-db/)
- New Algorithm: [Approximate Maximum K-Cut](https://neo4j.com/docs/graph-data-science/1.7/algorithms/alpha/approx-max-k-cut/)
- To allow users better ability to handle multiple concurrent users, we’ve added a [system monitoring procedure](https://neo4j.com/docs/graph-data-science/1.7/common-usage/monitoring-system/), gds.alpha.systemMonitor, to provide an overview of the system's workload and available resources.
- [Progress logging](https://neo4j.com/docs/graph-data-science/1.7/common-usage/logging/) is now turned on by default and has been improved from our last release - use `gds.beta.listProgress`

Hey Alicia: Neo4j documentation still has 1.7 "preview" identification.

Thanks for listening to GDSL users and continuing to expand the GDSL!

Can you please share some graph data science business applications with IT data? I see in the Neo4j sandbox a data set on IT data, but there are no relevant graph data science applications to go with it.

Thanks!
